requested not to send any fancy invitation cards, cake or take-home presents for
students or teachers. Chocolates, candies, lollipops or toffees may be distributed.
On their birthday, students may wear clothes of their choice that conform to norms
               of modesty.

The school suggests that every child in the class is invited if a parent wishes to
distribute invitation cards in the class, for a birthday party to be celebrated at home.
Parents are requested not to send any gifts for any member of the school
               staff.

                   (ii) Festivals
Festivals bring to life the diverse cultures of our society and are occasions for
celebration and joy. In this spirit, the school celebrates various festivals throughout
               the year.
               (iii) Non-Uniform Days
Certain days on the school calendar are designated 'non-uniform' days. On some
of these days, students are required to wear traditional Indian attire. On other days,
students may dress in clothing of their own choice, provided it meets the school
               and community's standards and expectations.
When participating in any social function or formal event at the school, students
are required to dress appropriately and follow the guidelines set by the school.
Bare shoulders, short dresses, distressed clothing, flip-flops and beach
               wear are not acceptable.
            m) House System

Students are allocated to one of the four houses - the Jaguars (Red House),
the Panthers (Blue House), the Tigers (Green House) and the Lions (Yellow House).
A house membership is an essential part of a student's education, helping each
child become a responsible and proud member of a community, through
participation in games and other house activities and events. It gives children of
different age groups the opportunity to bond with each other. The house system
fosters competitive team spirit and nurtures a sense of belonging by being part of
               a cohesive group.

            n) Student Council
The Head Boy and Head Girl along with the Coordinators, House Captains, House
Vice-Captains, Sports Captains and Sports Vice-Captains from each of the four
houses are members of the Student Council. The Student Council is responsible for
planning and organising inter-house and other school events. It provides students
an opportunity to develop leadership qualities and realise for themselves the values
and importance of democratic principles through their own hands-on
management of student affairs at the school.
The Student Council Coordinators supplement the efforts of the Student Council.
