f) Canteen
The school canteen offers a variety of wholesome, vegetarian meals and snacks.
The monthly menu is curated by the school chef in collaboration with the canteen
team, reviewed by the school canteen committee, and an external chef. It features
healthy, well-balanced options and is shared with parents at the beginning of each
month.
Additional offerings include a ‘Chef's Pop-Up’ serving fresh snacks and smoothies
during school hours, and a vending machine stocked with nutritious snack options.
l The school does not accommodate special meal requests.
l Students may bring lunch/snacks from home, but must carry them at the start
of the day. Deliveries during school hours are not permitted.
Lunch provision details:
l Classes 8–12: Lunch provided on all days except Thursday.
Students may purchase snacks during their designated breaks using their student
ID cards, which function as digital coupons.
g) Transport
The school has an air-conditioned bus service for students to and from the school.
Each bus is equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, seat belts, GPS monitoring
system, and video camera.
The buses are manned by trained personnel, including bus hostesses who have a
mobile phone for emergency contact. These mobile phones are also used for
swiping ID cards to mark their attendance on the bus and in school. It is mandatory
for students to use their seat belts while on the school bus, as per the RTO
directives.
The bus service will be available on Saturdays when the whole school is involved in
any academic or co-curricular activity. On all other Saturdays, parents are required
to make their own transport arrangements.
Parents/guardians must inform the school of any changes in the usage of the
School Bus service through the Parent Portal. The change in the return journey from
the school to home must be communicated at the latest by 11:00 am on the day
the change is requested.
The school has set up a Transport Committee which will monitor and ensure that
the buses deployed and the services provided conform to the standards and
guidelines issued by the state government towards ensuring the safety and well-
being of children using the school bus service.
h) Emergencies
During any emergency in school or on school trips, the school will do everything
within its capacity to ensure the safety and security of each student, and when
appropriate, will act on advice or directives received from the relevant authorities.
