b) Core Activities
Through core activity groups, the school seeks to encourage and facilitate students
who show promise or strong aptitude and interest in any sport, to further focus and
build on such competencies. This system helps develop students in the 'core
sporting activity groups to progress to the school sports teams that compete in
inter-scholastic events.
Participation in the core activity groups is based on aptitude, effort and
commitment. Participation in core activity groups is voluntary, but once opted for,
students are expected to commit to regular attendance both in the activity as well
as inter-school competitions.
Participation in core activity groups entails students spending extra hours of
practice beyond regular school hours.
