• The school will notify the parents when the duplicate ID card is ready.
               • Upon notification, the parent/student must exchange the temporary ID card
for the duplicate ID card at the school reception.
Strict action will be taken against students applying for a duplicate card
               without having lost the original.
If the ID card is lost more than once, an explanation must be provided to the
Section Head, and written permission from the Head is required before
               processing another duplicate ID card.
               (ii) Attendance with ID Card
The school ID card is also used to electronically mark attendance on the school
buses and at the school gates , during both arrival and departure.
If a student forgets their ID card for a day, they must obtain a one-day card from the
security cabin, which must be returned at the end of the day. If a student forgets
their ID card thrice in a month, parents will be notified, and the student will have to
wait at the reception until their ID card is brought from home. To avoid this, parents
should ensure their child carries the ID card daily.
(iii) Student Digital Coupon with ID Card
Parents can now upload money to their child’s wallet on the school portal. This
amount can be used with the school ID card for various payments, ie: canteen
snacks, photocopying in the learning centre.
            l) Parent ID Card
Parents are also issued a Photo Identity Card for entry into school. If parents do not
bring this card, they must follow the visitor management system to obtain a
Visitor’s Card. If a parent loses their ID card, they must follow the same procedure as
               for lost student ID cards.

            4) PARENT AS PARTNERS
               Parent Engagement at DAIS
At DAIS , we believe that strong, collaborative partnerships with parents are vital to
every student’s success and holistic development. Our structured and inclusive
Parent Engagement Programme is rooted in our school values and is designed to
               nurture these meaningful connections.
The Parent Workshop Programme fosters ongoing collaboration between
school and home, offering parents opportunities for skill-building, shared learning,
and open dialogue. These workshops empower parents to support their child’s
academic, social, and emotional growth in informed and effective ways.
Parent Interest Groups invite parents to actively contribute to the school’s
learning ecosystem. These groups serve as vibrant hubs where like-minded
parents, educators, and students connect and collaborate across diverse areas,

such as literacy, the arts, music, sports, robotics and artificial intelligence,
