Ÿ Students are expected to be punctual for the start of every lesson, including at
the beginning of the school day and after all scheduled breaks.
Ÿ A two-minute transition time is provided between classes to facilitate timely
movement.
b. Breaktime Free Lessons
Ÿ Students should remain on the designated floor or in the assigned common
area for their class.
Ÿ They are expected to maintain a calm, respectful atmosphere, keeping noise
levels low and the area clean.
Ÿ Littering and disruptive behaviour are not acceptable.
c. Laboratory Conduct
Ÿ Students may enter science laboratories only with teacher permission and
under supervision.
Ÿ Respect must be shown to peers, teachers, equipment, and the lab space.
Ÿ Running, playing, or engaging in any form of mischief is strictly prohibited.
Ÿ Students must follow all instructions and laboratory procedures carefully.
Ÿ Food and beverages are not allowed to prevent contamination and accidents.
Ÿ Any spills, injuries, or equipment damage must be reported to the teacher
immediately.
Ÿ Materials must be handled properly; students must not touch, mix, or taste any
substance unless instructed.
Ÿ Unauthorized experiments are strictly prohibited.
Ÿ Breaches of lab safety or conduct rules may result in temporary or
permanent suspension, and restitution may be required for damaged
equipment.
Ÿ Repeated violations will lead to formal behavioural reports and communication
with parents.
4. Dress and Appearance
Students are expected to dress and present themselves in a manner that reflects the
values and expectations of the school community. The following guidelines apply to all
students:
a. Uniform Requirements
Ÿ Students must wear the DAIS school uniform, which must be clean, well
