5. Conduct in School Transport
Students are expected to uphold the school's values of respect, safety, and
responsibility while travelling on school transport. The following expectations apply at
all times during bus travel:
a. General Conduct
Ÿ Students must be respectful and courteous to the bus driver, bus hostesses , and
fellow passengers.
Ÿ Use polite language and maintain a low voice to avoid distracting/disturbing
the driver or others.
Ÿ Follow all instructions given by the bus driver and bus hostesses without delay
or resistance.
Ÿ Wait in an orderly line, away from the road, while waiting to board the bus.
Ÿ Board calmly, without pushing, crowding, or rushing.
Ÿ All students must wear seat belts at all times
Ÿ Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before moving toward the exit
while deboarding.
b. While on the Bus
Ÿ Remain seated and facing forward while the bus is in motion.
Ÿ Do not throw any objects inside or outside the bus.
Ÿ Keep the aisles clear of bags and personal belongings.
Ÿ Maintain cleanliness—do not litter or cause damage to the seats or equipment.
Ÿ Tampering with emergency exits, windows, or safety equipment is strictly
prohibited.
6. Cleanliness and Wastage
Students are expected to contribute to a clean, hygienic, and respectful school
environment. Maintaining cleanliness reflects personal responsibility and care for
shared spaces.
Ÿ Eating is permitted only in designated areas on the school premises.
Ÿ Students must treat all school property and facilities with respect and care.
Ÿ Food must not be wasted. Students should be mindful of portion sizes while
being served in the canteen.
Students should:
Ÿ Dispose of all trash in bins provided appropriately for wet and dry waste.
