Student Well-being and Pastoral Care
At DAIS and NMAJS, we are deeply committed to nurturing the well-being of every
student. Guided by our values of compassion, respect, and resilience, we promote a
safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels heard, valued, and
empowered. Our comprehensive well-being programme includes weekly Social-
Emotional Learning (SEL), structured life skills sessions, and a strong
Advisory/Homeroom system to support students’ emotional, social, and moral growth.
Dedicated counsellors, peer mentorship, and inclusive practices ensure that every
student can thrive and flourish.
Pastoral Care at our school is a whole-school approach, woven into classroom culture,
co-curricular life, and every relationship. All adults in the community share
responsibility for student well-being, and our systems are designed to respond
proactively and compassionately to student needs. Through trusted adult mentors,
ongoing parent engagement, and a focus on student voice, our goal is to develop
confident, empathetic individuals who can navigate challenges with integrity and
purpose.
