EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING APPRECIATION OF OUR HISTORY

NMAJS PYP Class 3 had

Kanheri Caves, exploring
INTERDEPENDENCE its historic depths and
NMAJS PYP Class 1 students had a wonderful time marveling
at the Early Years Centre, where they learned at the natural beauty

KUSAMA INFINITY ROOM AT NMACC Our Nursery learners took a field trip to the ‘Light
into Space’ Art exhibition at NMACC, perfectly
complementing our unit on How the World Works.
They explored light, reflections, mirrors, and
colour—sparking awe and wonder at every turn.
EXPLORING DEVELOPMENTS NMAJS PYP Classes 1, 4, and 5 visited the Nehru
Science Center, Worli, to enrich their units of inquiry.
IN SCIENCE Class 1 explored natural patterns like day and night,
weather, and the water cycle. Class 4 investigated
energy transformations through interactive exhibits.
Class 5 deepened their understanding of light and
sound energy through engaging demonstrations.

SHARING Our little learners from Nursery had a joyful visit to Maharashtra Nature Park as part of
our unit Sharing the Planet. Surrounded by trees, insects and birds, children observed
THE PLANET and talked about what makes something ‘living’ or ‘non-living’. From spotting
butterflies to feeling the textures of rocks and leaves, the field trip brought learning to
life—quite literally! It was a perfect blend of curiosity, nature, and discovery, as our
children explored the world around them with wide eyes and open hearts.

EVERY DROP COUNTS SWADESH EXHIBITION -
APPRECIATING OUR INDIAN
NMAJS PYP Class 1 students visited the Museum of Solutions to HERITAGE CRAFTS
understand the important work of environmental changemakers.
They discovered creative ways to tackle water-related problems.
They learned how water makes its way to our taps, thought about
how each of us can help save water, and watched an engaging
video that showed how pollution affects marine life.
