CAREER DISCOVERY FAIR

On January 25, 2025, DAIS hosted its first-ever Career Discovery Fair, bringing together students, alumni, and
parents for a dynamic day of career exploration, connection, and insight. The event featured participation from over
25 companies and more than 50 alumni and expert speakers, offering students an exceptional opportunity to

engage directly with industry professionals and explore diverse career pathways.
Students interacted with exciting companies such as Plane Crazy, Isprava, Coco Cart, and Blox, gaining invaluable
exposure to different industries, company cultures, and internship opportunities. The fair provided a rich platform
for students to understand what skills are valued in today's workplaces and how to align their passions with
emerging career trends. A key highlight was a Networking Workshop conducted by Shaan Khanna and Sanjana
Chowhan, where students were taught practical networking strategies — an essential tool for building strong
professional connections in their future journeys.
Beyond networking and internships, the Career Discovery Fair emphasized self-discovery, encouraging students to
reflect on their strengths, interests, and long-term career aspirations. Following the success of the event, an
additional 25+ companies were onboarded through the strong support of current DAIS parents — from Early Years
to Grade 12 — who volunteered to interview and mentor our students for internships. These parents, representing
diverse industries, have generously opened up new avenues for students to gain real-world experience, enriching
the career preparation ecosystem at DAIS. We hope this fair and initiatives sparked new ideas and inspiration for our Grasper Global - Company interaction
student’s future careers.
Beyond the fair, we equipped students with resume-building resources, interview prep tools, and cover letter
writing support, and over the following months, we mapped internship opportunities and matched students to
roles based on their interests. We're proud to share that many students have now secured meaningful summer
internships at leading organizations such as Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Trilegal, Akara Art Gallery and Coco Cart - Company Interaction
