short profiles celebrating their achievements in college, careers, and beyond.
Alumni engagement extended into school life in powerful ways. They participated in
events such as CAS, TED Talks, and the Kick for a Cause football match. More
meaningfully, they stepped into classrooms to enrich student learning—leading an Entrepreneurship Week session
for Grade 5, a Typography workshop for Grades 9 and 10, and a special English class session for Grade 8 featuring
a visiting author.
One of the year's standout moments was the session India's Rising Influence: Lessons from the Global Stage, where
alumni shared stories of innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact—providing valuable inspiration to our
students. The Next Step Prep mentorship program offered personalized support to Grade 11 students, equipping
them with insights and connections to better navigate life after school. Meanwhile, the College Buddy System
paired seniors with alumni mentors to explore college and career options. Seniors also benefited from the University
Transition Letters initiative, which connected them with alumni already at their chosen universities—offering
practical tips and heartfelt advice.
A major highlight of the year was the Career Discovery Fair in January. The event brought together alumni-led
startups, parent-run businesses, and professionals from a range of industries including law, healthcare, real estate,
technology, public policy, art, and entrepreneurship. Students explored career options, received mentorship, and
built critical skills through resume-building, cover letter writing, and interview prep workshops. These efforts
culminated in a successful internship matching process that aligned student interests with meaningful
opportunities. These initiatives have helped build a powerful bridge between past and present, sparking inspiration
and reinforcing the values that define the DAIS community. As we look ahead, our goal remains to foster a network
that is globally connected, deeply rooted in shared values, and driven by limitless ambition.

STRENGTHENING ALUMNI
CONNECTIONS THROUGH UNIVARIETY

DAIS and Univariety have partnered to
build a future-ready alumni network, one
that goes beyond connection to create

Through this collaboration, alumni are not
just remembered, they’re meaningfully
integrated into school life. From designing
and managing the alumni portal to
curating engagement strategies, Univariety
ensures every interaction is purposeful.
Alumni have access to a personalized
dashboard, a space to track classmates’
m i l e s t o n e s , d i s c o v e r n e t w o r k i n g
opportunities, and stay involved. Initiatives
like the DAIScover Series, Alumni Pairing
and Alumni Guidance Sessions allow
alumni to share advice with their juniors.
Alumni contribute to school events, mentor
students, and receive support themselves,
from recommendation letters to school
updates. Behind the scenes, Univariety
powers this ecosystem with smart
technology, data-driven campaigns, and
seamless communication. Together, DAIS
and Univariety are redefining alumni
relations, not as a chapter that ends, but as
a connection that keeps growing."
