In our era, these are our only aims.
Have we forgotten the one who has been there for us for ages?
And left her memory only in history book pages!
The one who has nurtured us and given us life,
And at the same time can take it back like a sharp-edged knife.
The one in whose lap we have been growing,
But now who is left behind by us with tears flowing.
Concrete jungles and cement cities,
Replacing the lush green forests filled with trees.
We used to be so close to her,
But now those days are left behind in a blur.
We are not only ignoring but also hurting her,
Ruining her beauty for the things we prefer,
And soon she will rise,
And destroy everything before our eyes.
Let us put in love and rebuild our bond again,
Clean the ecosystem, plant trees and care for her children.
We are humans and not parasites,
So, let us help bring nature to new heights.
We have taken so much from her,
