the founder of two creative ventures
AANGI —Dingbat, a brand strategy and design
studio, and Pixie Dust, which crafts
PARIKH (JAIN) bespoke digital invitations. From
designing for films to creating cultural
campaigns for Twitter India, Aangi has
Class of 2007 built a career at the intersection of
storytelling, design, and lifestyle.

Educational Experiences
Looking back, some of the most formative
experiences at school came outside of pure
academics. CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service)
encouraged me to step outside academics and
explore different sides of myself. The creative and
service hours I put in helped me discover new
interests—whether designing the opening banner
for the school fete or working at the stalls to raise
funds. Those moments taught me the joy of
contributing, collaborating, and creating.
Our Theory of Knowledge classes also had a lasting
impact: one of my earliest projects was about
cruelty-free branding and animal testing. That
exercise showed me how much I loved product
building, storytelling, and branding—seeds that
grew into my career today.
After graduating, I pursued my Bachelor’s degree in
Communication Design, where I discovered that I
loved more than just digital design. Exploring
different materials and crafts taught me the joy of
“getting my hands dirty.” This opened the door to
tangible forms of design—packaging, invitations,
and beyond.
Professional Experiences
I started my career as a visual artist at a publicity
for films. This role cemented my love for
design studio, creating posters and digital assets
storytelling, and when I launched my own studios, I
carried that passion forward.
Today, I run two design studios:

specialising in brand strategy and design.
2. Pixie Dust – a lifestyle studio creating custom
digital invitations and announcements for
weddings, baby showers, and more.
Our most notable work has been with Twitter
India—creating emojis for the IPL, Diwali, and other
cultural events; working on social initiatives; and
campaigns such as #MetOnTwitter during Covid.
These projects combined design and storytelling at
scale, and it was a proud moment to see them
impact people across the country.
Alongside these, I’m also working on a new project
that brings my design sensibility into spaces and
products—extending aesthetics into interiors and
lifestyle.
Advice & Reflections
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice,
it would be: Read more books.
To current students: It’s perfectly fine not to have
everything figured out when you graduate. What
matters is staying curious and following the things
that bring you joy—those choices will slowly shape
your path.
And the mantra I try to live by is simple: Kindness
matters. In every project, every collaboration, and
every relationship, kindness builds trust and allows
creativity to thrive.
