Being selected to chair at THIMUN Hague 2024 was a defining experience. With Class of 2025
150 delegates and my school’s reputation at stake, I realized MUN was far more
than awards — it was about becoming a global citizen. Interacting with students
from over 100 countries in the “city of justice,” where we even visited the
International Court of Justice, made me cognizant of how limited my perspective
on democracy was.
However, it was my experience as DSG in DAIMUN 2024 that I believe has
fundamentally helped me mature and gain a grasp of who I truly am as a person.
