ROBOTICS  Elev8 Makes History: DAIS Robotics
        Team Breaks Barriers at FRC World Championship
        DAIS school robotics team, Elev8 made history as the first
        Indian  team  ever  to  win  a  Regional  event  as  Alliance
        Captains. Building on the experience they gained at the
 DAIS SHINES BRIGHT AT FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP  Turkish  regional  earlier  in  the  season,  they  engineered  a
        record-breaking  performance  at  the  FRC  World
        Championship.  At  the  Houston  World  Championship,
 Team Matrix becomes the first Indian team to win at FIRST   Elev8's innovative robot design and seamless teamwork
 Championship!  captured  attention  in  the  fiercely  competitive  Galileo
 Team  Matrix  dominated  at  the  FTC  India  Nationals,  winning   Division. They battled through qualification matches and
        advanced to the playoffs — further than any Indian team
 the competition. This qualified them for FIRST Championship   in  history.  Elev8's  clever  robot  design  and  unique
 in Houston, Texas. They stood above 256 teams from across the   strategies  were  recognised  by  winning  the  Creativity
 world,  reigning  victorious.  They  were  commended  by  many   Award  at  the  Championship.  Their  journey  has  not  only
 volunteers, and even the CEO of FIRST for their performance,   raised  the  bar  for  Indian  robotics  but  inspired  a  new
 and  representing  FIRST's  values  such  as  Gracious   generation of builders and dreamers to push the boundaries of innovation and teamwork.
 Professionalism!  They  were  also  named  Runner-Up  for  the
 Think  Award  in  the  Ochoa  Division,  recognizing  their
 outstanding  engineering  design  process  and  thoughtful   TEAM ELEV8 SHINES
 documentation.  Adding  to  the  celebration,  Aryan  Pai  was   AT FRC REGIONALS
 honoured  with  the  Gracious  Professionalism  Award,  a  rare
 distinction  awarded  to  just  five  students  per  division.  Judges
 praised  Team  Matrix  as  a  team  that  doesn't  just  build  robots   A team of 32 students from DAIS Grades 9 to 11 have
 but  builds  future  leaders.  With  this  victory,  Team  Matrix  has   been   collaboratively   working   on   designing,
 made  their  school,  their  city,  and  their  country  incredibly   constructing, wiring, and programming their cutting-
        edge  robot,  Scorpion,  to  take  on  the  FRC  2025
 proud. Hat's off to the World Champions!
        Reefscape  challenge.  Elev8  travelled  to  Turkiye  in
 Team  Eureka:  Pioneers  of  Innovation  and  Connection  in   March  ‘25  to  represent  the  school  and  India  at  the
 Global Robotics  Istanbul  and  Haliç  Regional,  where  they  won  the
 Team  Eureka  has  etched  its  name  in  history  as  two-time   Winning  Alliance  Captain,  the  first  Indian  team  to
        achieve this feat. The teams also won the Excellence
 National Champions, winning the India FTC Championship for   in  Engineering  Award  for  the  robot's  innovative  design  and  unique  mechanisms  which  were  able  to  effectively  make
 the second consecutive year. Their journey was defined by grit,   Scorpion the fastest and most accurate robot. Team Elev8 dominated the Haliç regional, ranking first throughout and
 innovation, and unwavering dedication. Not only did they excel   serving as the winning alliance captains. They also won their first Engineering Inspiration Award, recognizing their efforts
 technically,  but  their  impactful  outreach—mentoring  teams,   to grow the robotics ecosystem in Mumbai and globally through initiatives like RoboRISE, Rookie Teams Saturday, FTC
 hosting  STEM  workshops,  and  engaging  with  global   Scrimmage,  and  Robotics  Deconstructed.This  season,  Elev8  made  history  as  the  first  Indian  team  to  be  undefeated
 professionals—earned them the prestigious Connect Award.  regional  winners,  alliance  captains,  and  qualify  for  the  FRC  World  Championship  in  Houston  through  three  routes,
 At the FIRST World Championship, Eureka defied the odds in   including  the  Engineering  Inspiration  Award.  They  were  also  honored  at  the  Indian  Consulate  in  Turkey,  where  they

 against their sister team from DAIS.             Team Kryptonite: Team Kryptonite #28078 was a rookie team
 Team  Eureka's  season  reflects  a  powerful  blend  of  technical   in  the  2024-25  FTC  National  Championship  Season  “Into  The
 brilliance, community leadership, and national pride—setting a   Deep”.  The  team  had  13  members  from  DAIS  and  NMAJS
 benchmark for the global FTC community.          Grades 7 & 8. Their achievements entail: Kryptonite secured 7th
                                                  place  in  the  qualifying  round  and  emerged  as  the  second
                                                  runners-up in both the knockout stages and the Design Award
                                                  category,  showcasing  consistent  performance  across  the
                                                  competition.  Our  students  competed  with  passion  and
                                                  showcased their skills with consistent efforts.





            REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
              FOR THE WORLD ROBOT
                         OLYMPIAD

        NMAJS MYP Aaryan Modi and DAIS Aryan Shah won
        the  Gold  Medal  at  the  2024  Regional  Championship
        for  the  World  Robot  Olympiad  in  the  Robo  mission
        Junior category.
