DAIS STUDENTS’ CULTURAL PERFORMANCE EXHIBITION
Festival of Hope 2023: Empowering Education, Inspiring Innovation
DAIS hosted the Festival of Hope 2023 which was a grand celebration of education, innovation, and the power of technology.
The event brought together esteemed dignitaries from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), pan India IB associates,
educators, alumni, and students from various corners of the country to celebrate the power of hope and the transformative
potential of technology. The event began with a welcome speech by the Dean and CEO, Mr. Abhimanyu Basu, and keynote address
by the Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Isha Ambani Piramal, who emphasized the importance of hope as a driving force in shaping the
future of education. The festival drew 48 schools and over 200 attendees from all over India, all eager to participate in the
interactive talks and engaging activities. 20 interactive presentations and impactful exhibitions were featured, illustrating how
technology can revolutionize the teaching and learning experience, allowing students to pursue new opportunities. DAIS students
enthusiastically welcomed the audience with invigorating cultural performances. A panel discussion was led by the IB Director
General, Mr. Oli-Pekka Heinonen with DAIS alumni who shared their insights and experiences, inspiring the audience with their
journey from students to professionals. Additionally, a teacher panel led by a DAIS IBDP Year 11 student, provided a platform for
educators to discuss innovative teaching methodologies, challenges & solutions, knowledge-sharing and fostering collaboration.
Participants at the festival had the opportunity to present their innovative projects, highlighting how technology can contribute to
better living. These projects showcased the ingenuity and creativity of students, as they tackled real-world problems and proposed
solutions using technology as a tool for positive change. This event served as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and the
exchange of ideas, reinforcing the school's commitment to providing a holistic and transformative educational experience.
