Zahaan Kapadia: Building Futures Through Service and Sport

Zahaan Kapadia of DAIS IBDP Grade 11 exemplifies the spirit of service through his long-standing association with Vipla School, a neighbouring institution he has been connected with since the age of one.

 

Over the years, Zahaan has dedicated his free time and school vacations to teaching students at Vipla School, conducting yoga sessions, sports training, and supporting preparations for events such as Sports Day. His presence has created a meaningful bond with the children, who find motivation and comfort in his personal journey, especially when navigating their own physical and emotional challenges.

 

 

 

 

 

Inspired by their admiration for his sporting achievements, Zahaan initiated a six-month sports equipment collection drive, reaching out to renowned sports personalities and organisations including the BCCI and Goa FC Football Club. His efforts culminated in a special sports day celebration at Vipla School, attended by school leaders, teachers, and over 200 enthusiastic students.
