Our Young Artist in Kutch

Siddharth Singh of Year 11 successfully showcased his Origami installation at the Living and Learning Design Center, a craft museum in Kutch. This is an annual Folk Festival, held from January 19 to 23, and the installation was a part of the festival’s decor, and more than 30,000 people visiting the festival, got an opportunity to experience it.

The name of the installation was ‘The 1000 Flamingos of Prosperity’ and it was months in the making, with preparations beginning all the way back in October. This was one of the biggest installations on the museum grounds and at the young age of 16, Siddharth was the youngest artist to have an installation at the museum. He added a write-up with the installation, which was put up next to it, for all to read.

Siddharth mused that it was an incredible experience to be a part of such an esteemed festival, at the museum.

He was also featured on the museum's Instagram account, which included a video, with shared experiences of the team members in creating the work of art.
