Through the Eyes of a Butterfly

Dharini Zaveri of Class 5A has been very passionate about saving the environment in her own little way. She has been actively involved in various initiatives since she was in Class 3. Dharini decided to write a poem, as a wake-up call to all humanity. Her poem, "Through the Eyes of A Butterfly," was published on the front page of HOPE – an All India newsletter of Jane Goodall Institute (JGI).

Through her poem, Dharini highlights the consequences of human action and progress, on birds and animals in nature. There is an underlying plea for humans to embrace a path of healing and coexistence with the natural world.

Acknowledging Dr. Jane Goodall's impactful work, Dharini highlights her involvement in the JGI initiatives, such as 'Roots & Shoots' and 'Oceans are Us,' fostering a culture of coexistence and environmental betterment. Dharini believes through her every small step; she can act towards creating a lasting change.
