Suhani Jalota - Woman of the Year 2016

Duke alumna Suhani Jalota '16 was recently selected as one of Glamour’s 2016 College Women of the Year and received $20,000 as its grand prize winner. She says she couldn't have gotten to where she is without the support of the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative. Jalota, a Baldwin Scholar, founded the Myna Mahila Foundation to increase accessibility to menstrual hygiene products and public health infrastructure for impoverished women in India.
