Siddharth Rajgopal of DAIS IGCSE Class 9 C has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition (QCEC) 2025, the world’s oldest and one of the most respected international writing competitions.

This year marked a record-breaking edition of the competition, with 53,434 entries submitted by young writers across all 56 Commonwealth nations. Earning a Gold Award places Siddharth among the top performers globally — a testament to his exceptional writing ability, creativity, and depth of thought.
