Shruti Swamy of G11 won Silver in the Eskom Expo ISF 2025

Shruti Swamy of DAIS IBDP Grade 11 represented Team India at the 45th Eskom Expo International Science Fair (ISF) 2025, held in Johannesburg, South Africa, and earned a Silver Medal in the Environmental Studies category—an outstanding achievement on a prestigious global platform.

 

Her project, titled “OXIGENating Mangrove Resilience: A Data-Driven Solution for Coastal Ecosystems,” focused on studying the real-time impact of changing sea levels on mangrove ecosystems. Through data analysis and scientific inquiry, Shruti explored corrective measures to help preserve and strengthen mangrove resilience—an ecosystem vital for coastal protection, biodiversity, and climate balance.
