Sanaaya Joisher of IGCSE Class 9 A was selected as a youth representative at the prestigious 2026 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum, held at the United Nations Headquarters.

During the forum, Sanaaya had the distinguished opportunity to engage in discussions with Lok Bahadur Thapa, President of ECOSOC, and Felipe Paullier, Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs.

She contributed to high-level discussions informing the High-Level Political Forum and played a role in shaping a youth peace declaration to be presented to the UN Security Council. Sanaaya also delivered interventions and speeches on the role of youth in driving SDG transformation and advancing meaningful inclusion in peace processes.
