Navya Agarwal of IBDP Year 11 Excels at INSEF 2026 and National STEM Platforms
Navya Agarwal of IBDP Year 11 achieved remarkable success across multiple national STEM platforms.

At the Indian Science and Engineering Fair (INSEF) 2026 Regional Round, Navya received:
- Gold Category Award
- 2nd Place – Popular Choice Award (based on visitor voting)
She subsequently qualified for the INSEF National Fair through a competitive interview-based selection round and went on to secure a Silver Medal at the national level.
Her award-winning project, PlastiScan, is a machine learning and computer vision-based microscopy tool designed to make microplastic detection more accessible to the public. The project reflects strong interdisciplinary integration of AI, environmental science, and public accessibility.

Additionally, Navya received the All India STEM Excellence Award, recognising her sustained commitment and outstanding contributions as a STEM student.
She was also:

- Invited to present as a student speaker at the STEM Summit
- Selected to present at the Global STEM Best Practice Summit in Dubai
