Learning Lenses in the History class

In the last History class on 9 April 2021 Grade 10 students turned “History Upside Down” and fast forwarded their personal histories to 10 years hence.

 

Whether their chosen missions were small or big, they displayed the values, passion and empathy to weave their personal goals to being agents of change for the future. And making the difference.

 

While Antartica and the Space seemed favoured travel destinations in future, unique options like meditation, living in remote communities and authoring books were chosen with equal gusto. An eye to the wellbeing of the environment was also not missed.

 

Self-determination, being changemakers and embracing the unknown defined their dreams!

History (class) showed that the learning the narratives of history is where it all begins!
