Keyaan Shah of IBDP Y12 won Gold at the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition '25

Keyaan Shah of IBDP Grade 12 has won a Gold Award at The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025, organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society.

 

This year’s theme, “Our Commonwealth Journey,” invited students to explore cultural connections and shared heritage through creative writing.

 

His award-winning essay, “The Final Ring: A Journey of Bharat Chakravartin,” offers a compelling, modern retelling of an ancient Indian legend in response to the theme “Our Commonwealth Journey.”

 

With 53,434 entries from 56 countries, this year was one of the most competitive editions yet.
