Junior DAIMUN 2022
An opening speech, a bang of a gavel, and Junior DAIMUN was declared open. Classrooms were transformed into forums for heated discussions of world issues, as students from the 7th and 8th grade debated within three committees: the Human Rights Council, the Commission for Sustainable Development and the Disarmament and International Security Committee.
Passionate debate ensued in these committees as delegates proposed resolutions, negotiated blocs and delivered fiery speeches while trying to solve pressing global issues. Meanwhile, the Press Team captured the events of the conference and published the Junior Daily Muntra. The end of the conference was marked with smiling faces as awards were given to the delegates for their outstanding performance in the conference. And the highlight of every conference- the Junior Daily MUNtra was tucked into bags and pockets as the delegates departed at the end of the conference. All in all, Junior DAIMUN 2022 was a success!
