Jai Shree Krishna

 

On the occasion of Janmashtami, the children of LKG and UKG, took it upon themselves to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, with some performances and a story telling session.

 

The performance began with the kindergarteners welcoming everyone with an introduction to Lord Krishna, in the form of a short dance and a song.

 

 

The boys of Lower Kindergarten were dressed like ‘natkath’ Krishnas and the girls were beautiful ‘gopis’. Together they entertained the audience with their ‘raaslila’ performance.

 

 

Now it was the turn of the students of Upper Kindergarten. They sang a melodious tune and enacted a scene of requesting Little Lord Krishna to come into their homes and eat the delicious goodies made by them for him.

 

 

This was followed by an engaging story about Lord Krishna and his childhood adventures, by Mrs. Rajneesh.
