Jaisal & Aditya win ISSO U-17 Chess Championship

Aditya Patil of IGCSE Class IX C won the Gold medal and became the U-17 Boys Chess Champion at the ISSO National Games 2024.

At 14, he was one of the youngest players in the category. IGCSE Grade 9 B student, Jaisal Shah also participated in this competition and won the Bronze medal. Jaisal was undefeated throughout the tournament with 5 wins and 2 draws. He scored 6 out of 7 points. He did the draw with top seeded player with rating of 2040 in the tournament.
