Reyna Ghalla of IGCSE Class 10 Achieves Distinction in Prestigious ABRSM Examinations
Reyna Ghalla of DAIS IGCSE Class 10B has achieved a series of remarkable milestones in her musical journey, reflecting years of dedication, discipline, and excellence in piano performance.
In August 2025, Reyna was selected to attend the International Piano Summer School in Manchester, UK. Following the programme, Reyna earned a Distinction in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 8 Performance Examination in September 2025, demonstrating exceptional musicality and technical proficiency.
Adding to this impressive achievement, Reyna successfully completed the Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (ARSM) Diploma Examination in November 2025. Performing a demanding thirty-minute live recital, she was awarded a Distinction, achieving an outstanding score of 47 out of 50.
In recognition of her exceptional performance, Reyna has been invited to perform at the ABRSM High Scorers' Concert in February 2026, expected to be held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai. Notably, she is the only ARSM Distinction holder selected to perform at this prestigious event.
