GRADE 9 PRESENTS AN ENTERTAINING ASSEMBLY FOR HOLI CELEBRATIONS
On February 27, the students of Grade 9 presented a vibrant and colourful assembly to celebrate Holi. The programme highlighted the legend of Holika Dahan, explaining the cultural and mythological significance of the festival. Students also showcased how Holi is celebrated across different parts of the country, reflecting the diversity and unity embedded in Indian traditions.
Through engaging enactments and performances, they emphasized the importance of celebrating responsibly, respecting personal boundaries, promoting eco-friendly practices, and being mindful of others’ comfort and safety. The assembly was student-led. Learners volunteered to draft the script, enact the legend, choreograph the dances, and manage the technical aspects of the programme.
