Grade 6 students celebrate Gudi Padwa

On April 8th, 2024, the students of Std. 6A and 6B came together to commemorate the 'Gudi Padwa' festival at our school. The atmosphere was brimming with joy as everyone participated in traditional festivities and cultural activities. A captivating play, portraying the significance of the Gudi Padwa festival, was presented, followed by an enchanting dance performance that beautifully captured the essence of this auspicious occasion. To spread the festive cheer, students generously distributed traditional treats like Puranpoli as prasad, allowing attendees to savour the culinary delights associated with the celebration. This event not only brought joy but also served as an educational platform for students to delve into the rich traditions and customs surrounding the Marathi New Year.
