Global Recognition in Mathematics and Research for Jayveer Kochhar of IBDP Y12
Jayveer Kochhar of DAIS IBDP Year 12 has achieved exceptional success across mathematics, scientific research, and innovation at national and international levels.
Jayveer scored 144 out of 150 in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC 12), placing him in the top 5% of participants worldwide and earning a Certificate of Distinction, which qualified him for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME).



In November 2025, he was awarded the prestigious Gold CREST Award for his project RespiraScan. He has also been selected once again for the Indian National Science Fair (IRIS) 2026, to be held in Ahmedabad from 6–8 February 2026, for his research project “From Satellite Observations to Submesoscale Ocean Dynamics: Geostrophic Field Smoothing and Diffusion-Based Reconstruction.”
Further strengthening his academic profile, Jayveer has published two research papers in international journals—RespiraScan in the National High School Journal of Science (NHSJS) and Variable Stars Classifier in the Asian Journal of Observational and Research Science (AJOSR).
