DAIS Students Achieve a Clean Sweep of Gold Awards at the UK Intermediate Biology Olympiad 2026

DAIS students excelled with exceptional results at the UK Intermediate Biology Olympiad 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious biology competitions for high school students.

 

This year, over 16,000 students from across the globe participated in the Olympiad. Representing DAIS, 11 students took part—and each one earned the Gold Award, an exceptional accomplishment requiring a minimum score of 81.70%.

 

Leading the cohort was Somya Jain, who achieved an outstanding 98.09%, while the DAIS team recorded an impressive average score of 93.45%, underscoring the depth of talent and academic excellence within the group.
