DAIS Students Jayveer and Anshul Accepted into MIT's Prestigious RSI Program

Jayveer Kochhar and Anshul Bhatt, of DAIS IBDP Year 11, have been accepted into the highly competitive Research Science Institute (RSI) program at MIT.

RSI is a six-week summer program that selects approximately 100 of the world’s most promising STEM students for intensive research and study at MIT. Jayveer's acceptance recognises his exceptional abilities in computer science, mathematics, and robotics, including his impressive work on mathematical modelling and his ISEF project focused on wireless motion tracking for healthcare. Anshul's acceptance highlights his extraordinary talent in mathematics and cognitive/neuroscience, underscored by his accomplishments in bridge, where he was the youngest participant at the Under-16 World Youth Bridge Championships and the youngest player to win all three gold medals at the Under-16 World Transnational Youth Championships.

More recently, he won 3rd place at the top-bracket Swiss teams’ event at the North American Bridge Championships (NABC) in December 2024 in the Open category and won the Pennsylvania State Bridge Championships (King of Prussia Regional) in July 2024.
