DAIS Students Earn Global Recognition at the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge 2026

Vedansh Saha of IBDP Year 11 and Nipun Saha of IGCSE Class 10 C achieved outstanding achievement at the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC) 2026.

 

 

Working alongside two students from other schools, Vedansh and Nipun represented India after their team emerged as the national representative from among hundreds of participating teams across the country. Their research paper, which focused on the mathematical modelling of Etosha National Park, Namibia, was subsequently recognised among the Top 11 teams worldwide from a field of 64 teams representing 37 countries. For their exceptional work, the team received the prestigious Meritorious Award.

 

 

In recognition of their achievement, the team has been invited to attend the International Summit and Award Ceremony at Harvard University, Boston

 

Adding to this remarkable accomplishment, Vedansh Saha served as the Team Lead, guiding the team’s research and collaboration throughout the competition.
