Jayveer Kochhar of IBDP Y12 Selected as ISEF 2026 Finalist; Earns Prestigious STEM Recognition

Jayveer Kochhar of DAIS IBDP Year 12 has been selected as a Finalist for the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2026, where he will represent India for the third time. The prestigious event is scheduled to take place in Phoenix, USA, in May 2026.

 

 

Adding to this remarkable milestone, Jayveer has also been honoured with the “Most Outstanding Exhibit in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics” at the Initiative for Research & Innovation in STEM (IRIS) Science Fair. This recognition was conferred by the Yale Science & Engineering Association Inc.

 

 

 

His award-winning project, “From Satellite Observations to Submesoscale Ocean Dynamics: Geostrophic Field Smoothing & Diffusion-Based Reconstruction,” showcases exceptional depth in scientific research and innovation, highlighting his ability to address complex real-world challenges through advanced analytical approaches.
