Team DAIS2026 Earns Global Recognition at Stanford Math Tournament 2026


Team DAIS2026 students recognised for outstanding achievement at the Stanford Math Tournament 2026


Team DAIS2026 delivered an outstanding performance at the prestigious Stanford Math Tournament (SMT) 2026, held online on 19 April 2026.

 

Representing DAIS were:

  • Saketaram Manikantan (NMAJS MYP Class 8A)
  • Siddharth Nayak (DAIS IGCSE Class 9C)
  • Arnav Jain (DAIS IGCSE Class 9C)
  • Vihaan Pachisia (DAIS IGCSE Class 9B)
  • Prabir Shah (DAIS IGCSE Class 9C)
  • Ahaan Chhaparwal (DAIS IGCSE Class 9B)

 

The Stanford Math Tournament, organised by Stanford University, is one of the world's most prestigious university-run mathematics competitions, attracting over 1,000 teams from across the globe. The tournament comprises four rounds, including three team-based rounds and one individual round, testing participants' problem-solving, analytical thinking, and mathematical reasoning.

 

Adding to the team's success, Saketaram Manikantan received an Honourable Mention Award in the Individual Round, placing him among the tournament's top-performing participants.

 

Team DAIS2026 earned a Distinguished Honourable Mention Award based on their aggregate score, placing them among the top 10% of participating teams worldwide. The team also received a Distinguished Honourable Mention Award in the Power Round, recognising their exceptional collaborative problem-solving abilities.
