Agastyaa Goradia of IBDP Y 12 Honoured with REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship & Karmaveer Chakra Award

Agastyaa Goradia has been conferred for the prestigious REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship and the Karmaveer Chakra Award, an international honour recognising individuals who drive meaningful social change. This global civilian award, instituted by iCONGO (International Confederation of NGOs) in partnership with the United Nations, is a tribute to the legacy of visionary leaders Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Nelson Mandela.

What makes this recognition especially remarkable is that Agastyaa is only 17 years old, and yet he has been consistently working as a changemaker for the past five years. His initiatives have centred around two impactful causes:

Destigmatizing mental health challenges among teenagers and creating safe spaces for emotional well-being.
Empowering tribal children through STEM education, providing access to learning content, books, tools, and mentorship.

Through sustained commitment, empathy, and leadership, Agastyaa has demonstrated how young people can become powerful catalysts for social transformation.
