Abhimanyu Sudhir Grade 9 to represent Team India at the International Science & Engineering Fair’15 (ISEF), Pittsburgh in May’15



Abhimanyu Sudhir of Grade 9 has done the school proud by being one of the 18 students selected to represent Team India 2015 at International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2015. The Team shall be travelling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, between 10th May - 15th May’15, where they shall be competing against 1600 finalists from over 70 countries.

 

The brightest and sharpest minds with their exceptional inventions are set to prove their mantle at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) - the only global science competition for students from grades 8-12. Abhimanyu has returned from Delhi after completing Coaching Camp and Send-off ceremony. He was fortunate to meet Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, the former President of India and a renowned Indian scientist who has wished him luck.

 

The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), a program of Society for Science & the Public (SSP), is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. More than 1,700 high school students from over 70 countries, regions, and territories are awarded the opportunity to showcase their independent research and compete for more than $5 million in prizes.

 

A large number of students worldwide compete each year in local and school-sponsored science fairs; the winners of these events go on to participate in regional and state fairs from which the best win the opportunity to attend Intel ISEF. Intel ISEF unites young scientific minds, helps them showcase talents at the world plethora and they are reviewed and judged by doctoral level scientists.
