Ishaan Surve of DAIS IBDP Class 12 Featured in BizzBuzz for Startup Praakruti

Ishaan Surve, a Class 12 IBDP student at DAIS, was featured on the front page of BizzBuzz on 28th April 2025 for his innovative startup, Praakruti, which empowers tribal youth across India by providing them with a sustainable second income source.

Started in 2023, Praakruti inspires environmental consciousness by offering eco-friendly DIY kits and engaging communities in projects that protect biodiversity and wetlands. The startup has already reached over 9,500 eco-conscious individuals and is generating significant social impact while nurturing entrepreneurial skills among tribal youth.

Ishaan’s commitment extends beyond business—he actively works with villages through workshops, theatre groups, and interactive sessions to raise awareness about environmental issues such as water pollution, plastic use, and sustainable land practices.
