12th Annual Pearl Padamsee Trophy for Excellence in Speech and Drama

Every year the Pearl Padamsee academy for Creative Excellence organizes a challenging competition for all school students across Mumbai, to promote creativity in the Performing Arts.

 

The Pearl Padamsee Trophy competition is a prestigious platform for showcasing talent, especially theatrics and prowess in Drama.

 

This year the theme was ‘Incredible India’. Students had to write their own script and enact it within 3 minutes.

 

Out of over 500 children, 13 students made it to the final round.

 

Arhan Maker of Class 6-B made it to the finals and went on to bag the 2nd Runner –up trophy after a nail-biting final round, which had participants from 13 Mumbai schools.

 

The final round was held at Sophia Bhabha auditorium, Breach Candy from 4pm to 5:30 pm on Sunday 3rd September 2017.
